Cool Down with Calypso® Mango Icy Poles – Three Ways

This year, we’re celebrating mango season with something easy, fun, and family-friendly — Calypso® Mango Icy Poles, three delicious ways. Whether you’re after something creamy, a tropical twist, or a spicy kick, these homemade frozen treats are guaranteed to keep everyone cool all summer long.
CALYPSO® MANGO ICY POLES – THREE WAYS

Prep time: 15 mins + overnight freezing
Cook time: 0 mins
Ingredients
- 3 Calypso® mangoes
- 1 cup (250ml) cloudy apple juice
- 2 tbs (40ml) honey
Method
Peel and chop the mango flesh. Blend with apple juice and honey until smooth. Spoon into 10 popsicle moulds, insert sticks, and freeze overnight. Remove from moulds and store in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
Flavour Twists
Coconut Mango Pops – Swap apple juice for coconut cream. Half-dip in melted milk chocolate and sprinkle with toasted coconut. Freeze until firm.
Chilli Lime Mango Pops – Replace apple juice with lime juice and add ½–1 tsp chilli flakes. Drizzle with melted dark chocolate and a sprinkle of chilli-lime salt before freezing.
Tip: To make chilli-lime salt, process 3 tsp dried chilli flakes and zest of 2 limes, then pulse with ½ cup sea salt flakes until combined.
